If you phone the animal health team/leave a message to arrange a fallen stock collection, you may also ask us to record the death on the IOMEID system for you, we just require the tag number as normal and the animals date of death. Please note that you must still return the animal’s passport to DEFA within 7 days.
Note: If you report a death on IOMEID yourself, this does not automatically arrange a fallen stock collection. You must contact us separately to request this service.
